Purposes of Collection

Our staff members and healthcare professionals may request you to provide personal data (including but not limited to your name, gender, date of birth, identification document type and number, residential address, contact details, email address, emergency contact information, billing and payment details, insurance information, and health-related information), and/or obtain your medical history or relevant information from appropriate third parties.

Such personal data will be used for purposes related to your healthcare and treatment, and for purposes directly related thereto, including but not limited to identity verification, appointment booking and registration, communication regarding service arrangements, billing and insurance processing, handling enquiries or complaints, as well as clinical audit and statistical analysis.

The provision of personal data is voluntary. However, failure to provide accurate and complete information may affect our ability to provide appropriate healthcare services to you. The personal data collected may be shared within the Company’s clinical and operational systems to facilitate efficient and coordinated healthcare services.

Transfer and Disclosure of Personal Data

Your personal data may be disclosed or transferred to the following parties for the purposes stated above:

  1. Your attending doctors and healthcare professionals;

  2. Authorised personnel of the Company for accessing and managing your medical records for healthcare purposes;

  3. Affiliated doctors, healthcare providers and/or third-party service providers involved in the provision of healthcare services;

  4. Your insurers, agents, or the Company’s payment service providers;

  5. Relevant government departments, regulatory bodies, or other authorities where disclosure is required or permitted by law, or necessary in the public interest.

We will obtain your consent before using or disclosing your personal data for any other purposes not stated above.

Data Access and Correction

Under the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486), you have the right to request access to and correction of your personal data held by the Company.
